Samsung i8000 is a successor of i900; it runs over Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional OS and features a large 3.7" AMOLED resistive touch screen with 480 x 800 pixels resolution. It is a pocket size handset that supports 65k colors and sports a handwriting recognition feature on the screen. This 3G smart phone is integrated with glamorous looking black color casing.

The I8000 Omnia II contains various great connectivity features; I8000 is covered with both HSDPA and HSUPA onboard. It also features Wi-Fi technology, which allows the users to gain an Internet connection by connecting their phone to a local WLAN or by connecting to a nearby hotspot to gain a wire free connection to the Internet. As well as cabled USB and wireless Bluetooth connection are also merged. It can be said that it has almost all the connectivity and data transfer technologies, which can amuse you with its highly workable services.

Though I8000 is having 5 mega pixel camera and almost all the blasting features, yet there is complaint regarding its flash light that is failed to capture fine images in darker environments.

Furthermore, Omnia II comprises a picture geo tagging feature that allows the users to capture a picture along with user’s location being stored as this handset offers an AGPS system that makes this feature possible.
