HTC Hero and HTC Touch Pro 2 are smartly designed touchscreen mobile phones by HTC Mobile. Though both of the widgets are uniquely kitted up with highly appreciable features and real value for users’ money but still have conflicts regarding features.

HTC Hero

The stylish HTC Hero has Android® operating system which supports HTC Sense™ user interface. It sports 3.2 inch TFT capacitive touchscreen displaying 65k Colours and 320 x 480 Pixels resolution.

• You will get multi-touch input method, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate and trackball feature. While HTC Touch Pro 2 comes with Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional® Operating System and its 3.6 inches TFT LCD touchscreen with 480 x 800 Pixels resolution and 65K colours.
•  It has full slide QWERTY keyboard equipped with TouchFLO 3D finger swipe navigation, Touch-sensitive zoom bar, accelerometer sensor for auto-rotate, handwriting recognition.
• The Hero is only of 135 grams while the Touch Pro 2 is bit hefty as weighs 175 grams. Both of these phones are having same connectivity features, messaging services, Web browser and storage space.
• 5 Mega pixels camera with Auto Focus, Camera Setting has been merged on HTC Hero while its competitor contains 3 mega pixel camera for taking photographs and recording videos.
• Besides, second VGA camera for video calling facility is also included here but Hero is missing it.
• The battery backup of HTC Hero provides talk time 8 hours of GSM/7 hours of 3G and standby time 440 hours of GSM/750 hours of 3G.
• Whereas HTC Touch Pro 2 offers talk time 8 hours 30 min (2G)/6 hours 30 min (3G) and standby time 500 hours of (2G)/750 hours (3G). Additionally, it allows 2.5 hours video calling time.

In terms of music features the Hero brings along music player that can playback MP3, MIDI, AAC, AMR, WAV, AAC & Windows Media® 9 music file formats. HTC Touch Pro 2 also comprises music player and in addition it sports FM Radio RDS but Hero has omitted it.

Both of the widgets work over a HSDPA 900 & HSDPA 2100 network as well as covering GSM 850, GSM 900, GSM 1800 & GSM 1900 network coverage. And these are incorporated with GPS navigation system and document viewer features etc.
